Is She Pregnant Or Pudgy?
Britney Spears is still denying rumors that she is pregnant. But several magazines are saying that she is pregnant and not putting on a few extra pounds. Star magazine says they can “exclusively” and “definitively” prove that Britney is pregnant and they say the formal announcement is coming soon. Life & Style and People magazines are taking Britney’s side saying that she has just been eating a lot of home cooked food from her mom in Louisiana.
Billboard Magazine Pulls Anti-Fur Ad
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are speculating why Billboard magazine pulled their anti-fur ad last Thursday. The ad, which takes a shot at Jennifer Lopez’s clothing line Sweetface for using fur, shows a dead animal on a letter to Lopez asking why does she ignore P.E.T.A.’s repeated appeals to stop using fur. P.E.T.A. believes that Billboard pulled the ad after receiving pressure from Lopez’s record company and her publicist.
She Has To Be Famous Cause She Can’t Do Anything Else!
After being the latest to be voted off American Idol Mikalah Gordon says this wasn’t the end for her career but just the beginning. She told Launch “I can't cook, I can't clean, and I can't walk my own dog so I have to be famous. Though singing is my first love, I plan to do it all and I'm going to really look into acting now and really take advantage of that. I love to make people laugh, so hopefully I can get a sitcom lined up. I'm just going to take it and run with it." Some people think she might want to rethink her plan and come up with a plan B if the “Being Famous” plan doesn’t work out for her.
New Kelly Clarkson DVD
Kelly Clarkson is set to release her new DVD Behind Hazel Eyes today (March 29). The DVD will featured tons of never before seen footage, stuff about how she beat out 10,000 other contests to become the first American Idol, and the making of her video of “Breakaway”. If that isn’t enough for you she is also going to have on the DVD her love of camping with a video diary, bloopers, and six songs.
P. Diddy Announces Sean John Wheels
Mr. Sean “P. Diddy” Combs with his clothing line, record label, marketing firm, restaurants, and specialty Lincoln Navigators isn’t enough. P. Diddy has now launching his own wheels for SUV’s and high-end vehicles with Kansas City based Weld Wheels Industries Inc. Expect them to hit the market next month.
No Love For Game In Mexico
With a double-platinum debut album Game feels he doesn’t have to conform to the rules, even when it comes to luggage checks at the airport. So when he went to go fly down to Mexico he refused to let security check his luggage and then was refused entry into Mexico. After he was refused into the country a shoving match ensued and after it ended he was still refused entry and missed two concerts in Mexico.
Vanessa Carlton Cheap Shots Ashlee Simpson
While Vanessa Carlton was doing a show in New York City, Ashlee Simpson was in town too doing a show at a different venue. During her show Carlton started singing over a backup track to one of her own songs. She then stopped and pointed out saying “I don't want you guys thinking I'm pulling an Ashlee Simpson. This show is live, it's just me up here, unlike whatever's going on uptown."
Paula Abdul Hit-And-Run Update
Paula Abdul wasn’t in court yesterday (March 24) but her attorney was, she pleaded no contest to the hit and run charge. The judged order her to two years informal probation and ordered to pay $900 in legal fees and $775 to the driver of the car she hit. Her attorney said that she didn’t know that she had hit the other car, but took full responsibility for it. This however conflicted with reports that she told officers that her car was in the shop that day.
Lindsey Cardinale Still Plans A Musical Career
Even though she was eliminated last week from American Idol Lindsey Cardinale says she still is focused on a musical career. She says since she has shown America what she has to offer she is hoping that different producers will have interests in her singing abilities. Cardinale went on to say that she is going back home to finish school but singing is still number one on her list.
Ex-Idol’s CD Repackaged & Released
Even though Mario Vazquez quit American Idol that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to hear him sing anytime soon. Darque Records is repackaging an album from guitarist Cesar titled Worlds Of Change which Vazquez sang one song on there called “Solider Of Glory”.
Ciara Is Sayin’ Prove It!
Ciara is currently battling a couple rumors right now, one in particular is that she was on the Oprah Winfrey Show talking about how she was really born a man. Ciara recently visited BET’s 106th And Park to deny the rumors and she is even offering $100,00 of her own money for anybody that has a tape of her on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She is also denying rumors that she is a lesbian and that she is not dating Bow Wow as well.
Cause Wannabe Was Copywrited
The new Ashlee Simpson movie was going to be called Wannabe but after the film company Lion’s Gate heard her song Undiscovered they changed the title to that. Well the Canadian Press reports that Robin Devine trademarked the word back in 1985 after hearing her husband say it. Devine insists that the company changed the titled after she contacted them. Lion’s Gates confirmed they were contacted by her but insist that that’s not the reason for the change. Devine trademarked the word and won’t allow anybody to use it to sell anything without licensing it through her first.
Justin Timberlake Will Be Warts And All
Justin Timberlake has just agreed to play Sir Elton John in a new untitled $40 million movie. Timberlake was actually hand picked by Sir Elton and Justin has been hands-on with the writing of the script too. He recently told Digital Spy "Knowing what a wild existence Sir Elton has led, I thought 'Wow, you're offering me that role?' but when I read the script all the wild stuff had been left out. I told the studio that it would have to be warts-and-all so that's what it's going to be. I can't wait to get started." Be looking for a 2006 release with filming taking place later this year.
