We talked about alternative punishments for parents to use on their kids when they don't want to spank!!! Check these out!!!!!

1. Instead of washing the kids mouth out with soap use vinegar! We also had callers say use tobasco sauce!

2. When your kids won't clean their room...rattle a trash bag and tell them that any toys left on the floor in 3 minutes will go in the bag and off to the city dump!

3. If the kids are fighting make them hug each other in the middle of the living room until they stop fighting!

4. Make the child stand in the corner and place a quarter between his/her nose and the wall for 5 minutes. if the quarter is dropped the time starts again.

5. This one is a little harsh but we had a girl call in and say her Dad caught her sneaking back in the house and he CUT HER HAIR long curly hair!!! (her dad told her "...if you don't do pretty things then you don't deserve to look pretty").

6. One stepmother used her kids paycheck to buy toys for her siblings IN FRONT OF HER at the mall.

7. To end her 3 year olds temper tantrum, one mother throws a glass of water into the childs face (making sure the water goes up her kids nose).

Child Custody Case in Missouri........

A seven year old Columbia, Missouri boy was at the
center of a courtroom drama yesterday morning when he
challenged a court ruling over who should have custody
of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents,
so the judge awarded custody to his aunt. The boy,
however, stated that his aunt beat him more than his
parents and refused to live there.

Therefore, the judge suggested that he live with his
grandparents. The boy cried out that they beat him
more than anyone. In a unprecedented move, the judge
dramatically allowed the boy to choose who should have
custody of him.

Custody was finally granted to the Missouri Basketball
team this morning as the boy firmly believes the
Tigers are incapable of beating anyone.
